The Pippy Oak Reader Side Bench is a celebration of all of this materials beauty. Selected from 'plain sawn' boards, the bench top is a slice through the tree. In this case we've left the bark and the waney edge intact, as well as the lighter coloured sap wood. The heart of the bench shows all of the 'cats paw print' clusters of pips (knots) that characterise all of our Pippy Oak furniture — making each bench unique in shape, pattern and colouration.
The Pippy Oak Reader Side Bench is designed as a showcase — ideal as a special side table or coffee table. A perfect addition to a sitting room or library for books, magazines and objet d'art.
This bench also incorporates a our folding steel leg to make for economical shipping.
